how is 1366x768 1080p?

I had the same exact question when I read this... there's no way this is 1080p. And of course Dell doesn't have any tech specs or antyhing on it to see if it's a typo.

Viewsonic confirms that it is 720p/1080i: http://www.viewsonic.com/products/lcd-tvs/vt2645.htm

You're just quoting a blurb from the overview:
"Feel the action in movies and games in 720p/1080i resolution"

The specs list 1080p as a supported input signal. Obviously it will have to down sample to 1366x768 for both 1080i/p:
INPUT SIGNAL TV/Video comp. 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p

And from the features:
Dual HDMI input ports with 1080p/24Hz for Blu-ray™ DVD players

I definitely think Dell's info on this model is shady at best...especially since they're claiming 1080p resolution, which is not true:
"Feel the action in movies and games in 1080p resolution"

Oh yeah, and green for OP...now to buy or not to buy...I was looking at the 22" costco had "on sale" a few weeks back for $225 but didn't bite. I may be up for this one though...

Thanks for the effort OP, but please remove 1080p from the title!

They are advertising "FEEL the action" not "SEE the action".

Bought this TV recently from Dell. It is TERRIBLE. Don't bother. Takes forever to initially load, slow changing channels, looks/feels cheap. Not worth it.

INPUT SIGNAL

TV/Video comp. 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p
that is misleading
