the bundle includes camera all cables and soft ware standard, what is extra is the 2gb sd card, leather carrying case, and your first set of 100 4*6 photo's free from their 1 hour photo.
you are right, it does do 720p at 30fps using .mov wrapper. How do you like it, for photos and videos? Debating between this and zs3. Wanted canon sx200 but no zooming with video is dealbreaker for me.
this camera is much better than canon sx200, better pic, intelligent LCD that dims down in sun light and brightens up in the evening for less glare, only camera has hd video with zoom, but zs3 is better since it has hdmi output and stereo sound left and right built in on top of camera when recording video.

Good find. Glad it was at COSTCO.COM saving a trip to store. Camera had good reviews compared to other cameras in its class. The only thing that I think was a negative were unsaturated colors sometimes. Because I use Photoshop that doesn't bother me.
I am replacing a CANON Powershot S2 IS. My Canon has much lower megapixel spec, but has longer zoom,an electronic viewfinder, and 360 rotation LCD. BUT my Canon now eats batteries at 1 set per 5 hours [yes it is broken]. Estimated cost to repair was $150 plus shipping. I decided I can live w/o the electronic viewfinder and LCD that rotates-but I WILL miss them.. I no longer travel so the longer zoom isn't a requirement for me.
It seems a shame to junk the Canon.
THANKS FOR THE POSTING.

I do not do any post processing. This camera has vivid color capability but it is not enabled when used in Intelligent Auto mode. My previous camera was SD410 which now randomly bleeds pixels all over But when it was working, the colors were more vibrant on Canon than on the new Panasonic.
Has anybody found good sample images taken with this camera? Especially, in low light and with full Exif information.
