Does not appear to be a minimum amount. I am a poor college student, so I am giving $.50/month.

Good I'm glad there's no minimum. I wasn't sure, so I didn't do it! Now I'm going to lol.

My email confirmation says $1/month even though the confirmation screen said .50, so YMMV on that.

Signed up for $1.00 per month. What I realized is that it appears the monthly donations will continue beyond the promo period of 12 months. So if you want to stop, I guess you have to call.

Will hilton pay for it or is it St. Jude's?

I would feel queasy about doing this if St. Judes was paying Hilton for the points.

I am sure Hilton is doing this as like a donation matching program. Hilton will likely write off the fair market value of the points given to the donors as a charitable donation. So do not feel guilty.

i would assume HH is donating them or giving some reduced point purchasing plan

With the 1000 point bonus after the 12th month, doesn't that make this a 4000 point deal?

like a poster wrote above, my email confirmation also says $1.00 per month even though I entered 50 cents on the form and everything went through on the donation website as if 50 cents was fine. it was only when i got my email confirmation that it said $1.00.

that's okay with me, but i'm just letting everyone know.

am I just a nervous-nelly, or is anyone else concerned about giving their cc info over an http:/ (instead of https:/ )? I recognize the offer is legit, just leary of providing #'s...

You aren't liable for any unauthorized CC transactions anyway.
