Was at my local CVS and they had all Summer seasonal items at 75% off. Coleman Fuel, 16 OZ cans for $2.25 per 2 pack. Charcoal was $1.67 per 8.5 lb bag. Small grills were $4.95. Speedo goggles for $2.50 per pair. Lots of cheap kids toys for sale as well.
Use your Bank of America debit card (if enrolled in Add It Up!) for an additional 10% Cash Back on CVS in store purchases!
I'll be hitting up my store tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up, OP!

the only one I found expired on 8/29. where do you find effective one?
I picked up some coolers, beach umbrellas, gazebo and such all at 75% off as well. I must say the gazebo was the best deal. Normally $79.99, got it for $19.99.
If you must know, it's the Alhambra store (zip code 91801).

They have price scanners in the store you can use to verify the price first.
One item I got didn't show up as 75% off but they just enter it manually.
I was able to get a few folding chairs for $5 a piece, skewer/kabob sets for $1.75, summery plastic cups (reusable, not the throw-aways) for .24 cents each, some balls and various kids toys for cheap.
I have a huge Easter egg hunt every year for family and friends, and I give away TONS of prizes... so some of this stuff will be awesome! Some things will make good donations to our local Chinese Auction/tricky tray fundraisers as well.
Women's flip flops came down to .75 and $1.50 a pair, and they're decent looking shoes. Kids flip flops were .65 on average, and kid's sunglasses were all clearanced at 1.25-2.75 a pair. Lots of cute stuff if you have kids under 7.
