At my local Lowes today they had two 13.9lbs. bags of Kingsford Charcoal for $6.99. On the outside of these 2-bag packages was a Lowes coupon for $10 off your next purchase of $50 or more. I took the coupon off and used the coupon on my $56 purchase so I got the charcoal for free, plus an additional $3 off my purchase. Nice deal IMO.
FYI - This might be YMMV. It was $6.99 in Jefferson City, MO. However, it is on their site for $6.99 as well.
Must be local. I was just at my Lowe's like 10 minutes ago and noticed the charcoal is still about $14.
EDIT: Went back to double check. At my store it's marked at $14.99 but rings up $9.99. Total weight is 27.8lbs which works out to $0.36/lb. I usually get it at Sam's Club which is $12.98 for 40lbs. Sam's comes out a little cheaper for me at $0.32/lb. Green for you for those who can score it at $6.99 though.
Aldi has charcoal, though it is not Kingsford brand. 16.6 lb bag was $3.99 when I bought it a week ago. If it is decent charcoal, then this is a good value.
Nice, stopped by a different Lowes today and they had 15 of these still in stock. Grabbed 3 plus some other stuff I needed for my sprinkler system. Used the $10 off also so it was a great deal. Strange that my Lowes had them for $10 though, but oh well!
