Not much risk, just the hassel of a charge back if they don't cooperate.
Say's right on the page USA warrenty.
I've ordered cameras from these type of companies years ago with fine results. Worst is they sometimes call and try to pressure accesories on you. I just give fake number now.
biggest risk you get with those New York scammers is a push for overprice accessories. Some used to also charge for all accessories normally provided in the box (so the $100 saving comes from them selling box items separately).
Somehow, at most of those stores, if you do not buy their overprice accessories, the camera becomes back ordered...
I did have to call, even though I emailed that I did not want any accessories or to speak with them. I asked if it came with a cannon warrenty. They said they were not a authorized dealer and it has a 1 year store warranty...? I not to concerned because I am using a AMEX Platinum card that extends warrenty 1 year and offer 90 day return ability.
I specifically asked to make certain it was a US Camera (not gray market) and it was sealed in the box. I also verified there will be no hidden insurance charge. I got right through on the phone and they answered my questions professionally and direct. They did not try to sell anything just said they needed to verify the fake number I gave them - of course this was after my email.
If I didn't need the camera in the next couple weeks I wouldn't take the chance just to save $100, but with Amazon out of stock its worth the risk to me.
Be sure to post back once you've spent 120 days trying to get your money back, and wasted hours dealing with it. Good luck getting your money back and not getting ripped off too much. You might as well save yourself time & change your credit card number now.
I just posted a photo of this "Best Price Electronics" in another thread. I guess fatwallet is full of more gullible folks than I thought. Check out the store you just purchased from:
op, let us know the outcome of your deal. i hope everything works out. i noticed that the description of the included items did not specifically mention the battery pack and charger were made by canon. a few years ago a co-worker bought a camera kit from a ny camera discounter and they send him the kit without the genuine canon battery and charger. they had swapped a cheaper 3rd party brand for the canon brand.

Deal looked too good to be true. Hopefully with the D60 release and its spiffy rotating viewfinder, the T2i gets a price break soon

Sometimes these posts make you wonder if it's actually someone from the linked company who is posting on this site with hopes that others will follow. Especially given the fact that resellerratings has so many new posters praising this company.
If this is a legit post, I'd probably put a fraud alert on your credit card to ensure that you don't acquire additional credit under your name....

Not that it really matters in this case, because I think it's a long shot that anyone will actually get the camera, but the only reason to get a US camera over a grey market camera is for the warranty. There is no other difference. They are the same product, with the same accessories, made in the same factory. And just to complicate things, I know people who have made warranty claims with grey market products. So while YMMV, there may be absolutely no difference between the 2 products.
That being said, don't fall for this. It's really cheap for a reason...that reason being that it's unlikely you'll actually get a product. If you're still not convinced, I'd be happy to sell you this camera for $100 from my company called Bestest Price Electronics. Much cheaper than Best Price Electronics! As soon as I get your cash your camera will be "in the mail".
You are all a bunch of A$$HOLES in this thread. I remember now why I just lurk here for years and rarely waste my time posting. This was great price with minimal risk and should be a green thread with a caution about the business hard selling accessories(which they did not do to me) and maybe some personal bad experiences (which there are none so far!)
Damn near getting T2i for price of T1i! You don't think there is enough room in their margains to undercut lowest authorized dealers price by 14%...?
This is my 3rd camera purchace from a NY store like this in the last 10 years (I have been doing deals before FatWallet on Anand Tech - and am not newbie) All have been fine and US products- the first one years ago I got a hard sales pitch for accesorry.
This place has been courtious and professional on phone, charged me correctly and sent me good update emails on my order status.
The only deals I have had trouble with out of many 100's are the price mistakes, rebates/coupons involved and a few open box buys. This was no more riskier than buying something on eBay, if you use a good card that will back you up.
I prefer AMEX Platninum for their easy online disputes and always siding with me in the past ( about 5out5 sometimes automatically - but I charge over $10,000 year on it too) They guarantee 90 days for return and extend warrenty for year (not 100% if this applies to store warranty when not an authorized dealer) but I'm not really worried about warranty as I can't remember when I had something work for couple weeks and then stop under warrenty.
(Ex) Years ago I bought an expensive heart rate monitor open box for like $300 when they were going for $450 new. I got it and it had a feature (foot sensor) that was broke. I contacted the company for a replacement sensor and they basically said tough luck it was open box. I emailed their rude reply to AMEX and defined open box and AMEX agreed refunding my full money and 2 weeks later that company called to wine about me mailing the defective unit back when they didn't respond to any other of my emails after their first rude one.
Here is a video of package unboxing/accesorries - All were there and they sent a surprise camera bag/tripod/cleaning kit - The camera works great and was in new condition:

"Do all your packages come with no shipping label?"
She had the shipping label on the other side so no upset Fatwalleters could hunt us down
I will add the retail box was not shrink wrapped and they cut open the bag with the manuals inside to remove warrenty card.
But the camera had no finger prints on it. We are happy with the purchase but I wouldn't be certain about happy results if we ever had to use the 1 year store warrenty.
May order the canon 55-250mm lens $214 from them tomorrow.

The purchase was actually very HIGH risk (not minimal), and your experience is a complete rarity. Don't be so indignant just because you literally lucked out despite your own naivete.
Rule of thumb, if you've never heard of the camera store, don't buy the camera from them. 1) It will probably never ship (in fact, you'll probably receive a series of calls trying to upsell you on equipment along with a cancellation notice after you don't give them $50 for a 1gb SD card) and 2) if it does ship, you don't know what you're getting (gray market).
B&H, KEH, Adorama, beach camera, Cameta, Ritz, or any large online store (Amazon, Buy.com, etc) are all safe. There's probably a few others that I missed, but if it's not one of those vendors I wouldn't buy a camera body from them. Photography gadgets and even lenses might be fine, but you need to know who you're getting your body from. Use eBay and Amazon market vendors at your discretion. There's some great vendors, but you have to do your research.
There are a few things I'd buy grey market and not think twice about, but a Canon DSLR is not one of them. In this case, it's not just as simple as "did it break" during the warranty period. I've bought new lenses before that had backfocus issues, and Canon happily accepted my camera body and lenses to run full calibrations. Everything came back working perfectly, and that kind of an issue didn't show up until I bought a new lens several months after the camera body purchase. And I doubt if they would have given me the same service if my camera had a Korean serial number. Just food for thought.
