I booked an apt today!

I bought two of these for my Sienna and they wore out in a few months. The second box is on ebag now.

Last time I did this (in April 2010), they only send me $15 for purchasing 2 sets (instead of $30).

I've sent in rebates twice to Monroe - never saw them.

well.since the rebate is only for (1) per household...guess that wont be an issue..

I received my rebates from them.

I received my rebates on pads purchased on September 2, 2009 very quickly, and so far they have worked perfectly on my Camry.

Some of the above comments surprise me as my experience with both the rebates and the quality of the product is the exact opposite of others.

I might go ahead and but another set to have on hand, free after rebate is tough to beat and I will need them unless I wreck the car

Hot deal for Camry/Avalon owners who wear out the back pads, eh?

Pads for the front of my mom's Malibu were under $15 after rebate so green for you, even if none of my cars qualified. Click OP's link, go to the Make Sure It Fits box, and view similar products that fit my vehicle. Filter the list for made by Monroe and look for the word ceramic.

I am yet to receive my rebate from April. They are giving me a hard time.
If someone can provide a link, PM, or email to the rebate form, I will appreciate it.

Thanks!

OK, I give up...
Where is the rebate form?

i did this back in April 2010. I bought two and only received $15 for one of them instead of $30 for two. I gave them a call and they noticed the error and got another check for $15 within 2-3 weeks. So im satisfied overall. Good deal!

I bought it for my Corolla

Do you ever take a minute to read what others write ?

No, but it appears not all get rebates....
That should be in the heading or at least the body of the post.

I only linked to the Free Brake Pad. I wasn't going go through and list all of them that were qualified for the rebate.

i got these last year and got the rebate w/o any problems. the pads started to squeak after a few months and the squeak is still there but comes and goes intermittently. i had the rotors turned when i put in the pads and i used the anti-squeak compound behind the pads. these are the only pads i have ever installed in 30+ yrs of driving that have ever squeaked.

fwiw, i installed these on a 2001 toyota sequoia. i'm going to replace the pad because the squeak is pretty embarrassing at times.

This is also valid on Dynamic pads. Here is a link to the Monroe E-Catalog so you can see what pads you need for your vehicle. Monroe E-Catalog

Here is the form from the April offer.

I have the same exact intermittent squeaking problem. If any car buffs know a solution to this I'd really appreciate you sharing. I won't ever buy these pads again, even if they pay me.

Check your facts before posting misinformation...

Dynamic Pads are DX series.

Sweet... Thanks OP.

anyone in past by pads below rebate amount and get full rebate (such as $4 pads)

I believe the squeak is becuz you installed ceramics and didn't upgrade the rotors. If you're planning on using stock rotors I read not to use ceramics.

Yes, I have and I made a few dollars back.

If you don't get any results for Monroe Pads when looking up your vehicle, follow the link below to look up your part number, and then go back to Am@zon and do a search for it. It seems that Am@zon carries a lot of Monroe Pads that aren't linked properly to the vehicles.

Monroe Part look-up

It's also worth pointing out that Wagner has rebates on their brakes, too. DIYer's get $15 for front or back brakes, or $30 for both. If you get them from a shop and have them installed, you get the $30 + $20 for labor.

If you're planning on using stock rotors I read not to use ceramics.i did have a friend tell me the same thing, but i read the reviews for the ceramic pads before i got them and everyone seemed happy with them as direct replacments for their oem pads. those with the squealing/squeaking problem seem to be in the minority so i guess i was just unlucky. i've had my pads in for about 15k miles and when i have some time i'm going to switch bach to metallic pads. i wanted to give ceramic pads a try because i thought they would be dust free but they are not. they generated slightly less dust than the oem pads but the dust seem harder to wash off, maybe because it was a lighter color and harder to see.

Coupons, discounts could nullify the rebate.

I can confirm that the rebate is still valid with Advance Auto Parts coupons. That's what I did and I just got my rebate...in only 16 days!!!

FILLABLE rebate form attached below

EDIT: Fixed some glitches on the fillable rebate form. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I ended up going with Advance Auto coupons and Wagner rebate.

Pads + Shoes $85.95 (ceramic pads, semi metallic shoes)
BIG35 coupon -35.00
Wagner rebate-30.00
net 20.95 plus tax.

I'd rather have Akebono, but they don't make shoes for my car, and I'd be paying at least $45 for Akebono pads alone.
