Wow, this is the same program as Super DVD Creator 9.8 that I paid $13 off of e-bay a couple of days ago. It's an OK free program...I needed to make a high quality DVD from AVI movie files.

I use DVD Flick to do that all the time. Works great, and it's free.

According to the original post, the registration code is built-in to the download. (included in the exe file)

There is also a link that says, "BUY the full version."
Do they only apply to the "Download trial version" link?
SpeedDragon
I don't see the note. There are 3 download links. Use the second one. Actually this is not a trial version, this is a "special edition".

I don't see the note. There are 3 download links. Use the second one. Actually this is not a trial version, this is a "special edition". The note is right under the last download link "External Mirror 1 [EXE]." I think normally the second link is not there so the notes only apply to the other two links.
The registration code is built-in to the program. You don't need to enter one.

http://www.dvdflick.net/ Not trying to distract from the OP's post and relevent discussions, I'd like to warn anyone who wish to try DVD Flick (as I did):
During the installation of the DVD Flick: (free) Video Converter, a screen titled "babylon" came up, which wants to: "Install Babylon and make Babylon my default home page and search provider. Include the Babylon toolbar".
You have to agree to these terms - can't bypass this step or disagree.
In other words, as a condition of installing this DVDflick, I am supposed to let it take over a part of my computer, allowing it to be 1) my home page, 2) default search provider, and 3) install their toolbar.

Anyone see these as a problem as I do?
That's strange, because I've installed DVD Flick on 2 different computers and don't have anything called Babylon on either one, and have Google as my home page and default search provider on both. DVD Flick is open source software and "completely free without any adware, spyware or limitations."

After reading the last comments by muskiemyke, I went back to the referenced webpage and found that the reason why I got the "babylon" stuff was because I clicked one of those two most prominent links (with big letters) on that page (top banner and left side panel which says "Video Converter, Free Video Converter,... [ FREE DOWNLOAD ]). It turns out what I downloaded then was "VideoConverter(v2.2)" which is NOT DVD Flick. "babylon" was part of installing that software!
In order to get the right DVDFlick, I had to click the "Download" tab on the dvdflick.net webpage. Everything went smoothly after that. The download resulted in a setup file dvdflick_setup_1.3.0.7.exe (12,648KB) which I double-click to install. No "babylon" window came up in that process!
Sorry about the negative comments on dvdflick! But I think perhaps by posting my experience in trying to get dvdflick it might be useful for others.
Thank you OP for the post! (I have also downloaded WinX DVD Author 5.5.8)
