Get a FREE The Palm Restaurant Gift Card $10 to $500. Just answer the trivia question (1926) and submit your name and address. The mystery award is emailed to you within 24 hours

Seems like $10 may get you a glass of water at the place but in good FW spirit I signed up even though there isn't one for over 1000 miles from me.

1926 is the answer. good luck

Has anyone gotten the email yet? The website implies you need to go to the restaurant with a code to find out the value of the discount. Also, any idea how much dinner for two would cost? $100? $150?

I would hate to go all the way to the restaurant to find out I have a $10 savings off a $150 meal. And I would look really bad in front of my date if I walk out after that news.

@ChewbaccaJoe +1 here! hahahahha

That's exactly what it sounds like. Still worth doing if you happen to be in WeHo or headed to the Staples Center (insert equivelent if outside of LA).

worth a shot... but I got a blank screen after submit is that normal?

no

must go to restauarant to see what you won

$500 GC here, yeah Beluga Caviar here I come.

You answered our trivia question correctly! Your Palm Award – valued between $10-$500 – will be sent to the email address you provided in the next 24 hours. Bring your Palm Award in to your favorite participating Palm Restaurant to discover the Award value.

In 4 1

The menu doesn't have prices, but their Dinner for Two special is $89.95.

Thanks OP!!

Thanks OP. The Palm is expensive, but the food is really great.

A little silly that you can't at least call the restaurant. I get that they want you to come in, lured by the appeal of a free high-ticket meal, but what if you do get the $500 and you just came with your date? Are you supposed to call up people to come join you at the table?

Never heard of 'em but it turns out that there is one by me so I signed up. Thanks OP.

It's a gift card, so just finish up with your date, then take me tomorrow night.

This is a great deal for anyone thinking about eating out. The palm was smart by forcing you to come in to find your prize amount.

From the rules:

"Odds of receiving a particular Palm Award are as follows: $500 (1 in100); $250 (1in50); $100 (1in 20); $50 (1in 10); $25 (1in 5.88); and $10 (1in 1.54)."

Pain yes, but at least you have option b when you go (perhaps if nearby before the end of Nov? if not, guess it costs a sheet of paper):

"OR b) Visit the host/hostess stand at any participating The Palm Restaurant and present your Palm Award to the host/hostess, who will reveal the value to you."

Are you supposed to call up people to come join you at the table?if you get the $10 gc then you order the $89 dinner for 2 special. if you get the $500 gc then you each order a steak and 5 lb. lobster and a bottle of wine and that should make about $500 disappear at the palm. they have huge lobsters at market prices. i think the smallest lobster is 3 lbs from what i remember.

here are the odds

$500 (1 in100); $250 (1in50); $100 (1in 20); $50 (1in 10); $25 (1in 5.88); and $10 (1in 1.54)

That is an illegal trick!

Thank You!

Got the email with a unique number I guess. I wonder how does the restaurant know the amount of the award. Maybe it's based on the last digit of the code?

Guys, whoever goes there, please record your code. After you are back, please report the reward $$ amount with the used code. In this way, we may figure out the reward amount for our own codes.

Thanks a lot!

I keep getting the following message, after I hit enter button:

"Unique identifier cannot be zero."

Anyone else getting this message?
