I was at Target in Chicago land area and saw they put their Brinkmann grills on clearance. this one is red porcelin
Very nice looking however the reviews online say the intenal parts rust fast and ordering replacement parts is difficult.

Original price $299.

They also have a Brinkmann pro Series 1420 with side 4 burner burnier grill $123.

I did not jump on it since because of the low rating reviews but I still think its a great looking grill.

just an f.y.i. - I had my Brinkman rust on the inside (the burners, the splatter plates, and the grill plates) and the company is impossible to work with. I personally don't think the savings is worth the hassel.

I wonder if I could retrofit it with weber or char-broil (better) parts when it needs to be replaced. I am considering getting one just because I don't want to spend $50 buying parts for an older and dirtier grill that I have right now.

All that you need to do to avoid rust is to splurge on a good grill cover. I keep mine covered and have yet to run into any issues with rust.

Buy this only because it is cheap, it is not durable. It'll rust itself out over 3-5 years. It is still usable when rusty anyway. The rust starts from the inside, you can't prevent it with a grill cover. I've been running it high to burn out all the food on the splatter plates after each use. But eventually, the splatter plates need to be replaced every two years, and the burner 3-4 years. The body of the grill is made of rather thin metal sheets, I'd expect it to rust through in a few years.

Seems like a great deal. I bought the 1470 model (stainless steel version) for my brother-in-law. I guess we'll have to see about the rust issue, although all these grills in the $200-$400 price range look fairly similar to me in regards to to quality.

This Brinkmann grill is now on sale at 75% off at the Target in Harbor City/Carson area. I got mine for $75.

Got the floor model (no tank) for $52...this will replace the grill I got 4years ago for $75 at Target. At this price, I don't mind buying a new grill every 4-5 years.

All the grills are gone at our Target. Should have jumped on the stainless steel one they had a week ago...
