It is back again at Nokia.com. Use promotion code: n900280 (flip-swap a phone register separately at http://nokia.flipswap.com/) to get Nokia n900 about $315 after $280 rebate back. It is confirmed since I was called by their rep asking me if I want the phone. I was canceled last time when I tried to get previous deal. Certainly, I said yes and they gave me the code.

promotion code does not work on nokiausa.com

You have to use the code at the flip-swap site OP links to. The code can be entered before final confirmation on your trade in. Previous thread explaining how to get the deal. I tried calling the nokia store but they are already closed for the night.

Just ordered..What is proof of purchase ? Is it upc, invoice ? couldn't find it on flipswap website.. I ordered with standard shipping and afraid I won't get it before Aug 31 which was deadline earlier ?

ban this loser please

Is this only valid for purchasing an N900?

Is there a deadline to file the rebate?

If you call to do the order they give you 15% off because the rebate comes from flipswap not nokia calling is ok I got in on this the first time

Thank you OP, just finished the tradeup part hope I can get the phone before the promotion expired.

I remember some discussion that the purchase must be for nokiausa.com and the Dell purchase will not qualify. Double check before jumping on this deal.

Its shoing for $419 on dells website and coupon code is not working too. Could you please post the Dell link for that price?

Coupon code works on the Dell Small Business site for a price before tax of $349.

I hope I got a good deal. After struggling with trying to add the N900 to my cart and chatting with useless Dell sales reps, I was finally able to get it for $379.54 shipped to CA. I almost ordered from Dell Home for $455.xx. Luckily and thanks to usern, I checked Dell Small business and got it for $349 + tax;

Sub-total $349.00
Shipping & Handling $7.99
Shipping & Handling Discount -$7.99
Tax* $30.54
*Exemptions reflected in final checkout page only
Total Price1 $379.54

I took care of the flipswap stuff ahead of time; traded a Nokia 3390 for $0 but got the $280 confirmation. I'm crossing my fingers that Dell qualifies as an "authorized Nokia dealer."

How It Works Trading in your phone is simple and only takes a few minutes.
1. Find your phone – Search for your phone using the manufacturer or model number (ex: Razr, BlackBerry 8320, Motorola, iPhone). Use the picture in the search results to be sure that you’re trading in the right phone. Then, provide some contact information, and you’re ready to ship. You can trade in up to 10 phones online.
2. Buy a new Nokia - Head down to any authorized Nokia dealer and purchase a brand new Nokia. You can do this 30 days before or after your trade-in online.
3. Ship it for free – Flipswap offers a free shipping label. Just print it out and slap it on a package to ship your phone and Nokia proof of purchase in for free. (Did we mention it’s free?) 4. Get paid – Step 4 is the easiest. Depending on your payment option, expect to receive your payment about 3 weeks after your phone(s) arrive at Flipswap’s warehouse.

I hope I didn't miss anything. $380 for this phone doesn't sound too bad since I'm being stubborn about getting an iPhone. If I actually get the $280 flipswap rebate, $100 out the door makes this deal so much sweeter. Thanks OP and thanks anlanhe73 for posting the deal again here.

The Nokia CSR said it was not valid for any purchase outside of direct from Nokia. Have a look to this thread

an interesting comment from somewhere

I contacted Nokia couple of days a go when they had the E72 rebate deal, and they told me what they mean by "authorized Nokia dealer" is to either buy it from nokiausa.com or any Nokia stores. Dell, Amazon, Newegg, etc don't count

doesn't the trade in phone needs to be fully functional?

zmclive523 said: doesn't the trade in phone needs to be fully functional?

If the phone is non-functional you will only get $280. $280 is guaranteed.

called their customer service multiple times today. The $280 rebate promo is no longer valid.

I just did the promo.

any Nokia disc codes?

currently 479(on nokia site)-280+your trade=199 or less depending on your trade in.

also this is confusing!"2. Buy a new Nokia - Head down to any authorized Nokia dealer and purchase a brand new Nokia. You can do this 30 days before or after your trade-in online."
why would the nokia rep say you can only buy the phone from them when the following passage is mention"Head down to ANY authorized Nokia dealer..."?
I smell a rat or the nokia rep is making up his/her own policy on the spot?

I have one of the e72s from the earlier deal ($150 flipswap rebate). I have spoken with three different folks at Nokia regarding these rebate and every time they had said that it ONLY qualifies for purchases direct from Nokia. Flipswaps rebate paperwork clearly said when I sent mine in to include proof of purchase from Nokia - not from an authorized reseller. So good luck to those that have tried it through Dell.com.

I ordered my N900 and CSR told me that flipswap deal only works on nokia.com purchase. Do not buy other retail or authorized dealer if you want to get rebate.

i spoke to 3 CSR over the phone. They said the $280 rebate is no longer valid today. Even what's on the website is no longer valid. They said it needs to be updated. I thought it was total BS, which is why I spoke to 3 CSR and they said the same thing. Are you saying a CSR said the $280 was valid?

I called Nokia customer service today and asked him multiple times, he said if you place order today...it will not be eligible for $280 rebate. The code what OP has given is only for the customers whose order is been canceled at that time.

so whats the definitive word on this?

If someone has the trade-in form the last time when they offered the coupon "summer280", it's more safe to use it. It seems that the "n900280" wont work for all people.

where we can get the rebat, every delear will commit the trade in program?
I called the nokiausa they said the rebate no longer valid.
pity!

Today I ordered N900 and the CSR gave me the code(n900280)for flipswap rebate. I didn't ask about flipswap program but the CSR said the code then get $280 rebate. I think this code and N900 order are valid for some people who had problem with order in the past. Before I proceeded the order procedure, the CSR asked me all previous order info(Name, Order #, etc). Then the CSR told all things about this.

I just used the code on flipswap and got a receipt showing $280 rebate. Also called nokia csr to buy N900 and they are giving an additonal 10% discount, so ask for it when you call. CSR mentioned that as long as code shows $280 rebate on flipswap it should be valid.

Order Summary :
Qty/Description: 1 /Nokia N900 (SKU # 002L929/ black)
Discount: -$47.90
Subtotal: $431.10
Delivery cost: $3.99
Sales tax: $35.90
Order total: $470.99

well I got the 280.00 rebate with the first code in my flipswap receipt.

going to give it a try w/nokia

i got the same info. 10% and $280 rebate from CSR. I never applies for the rebate first time. But this code works fine. Got a printed receipt also. from flipswap.

That means the rebate should work right?

Also, DO WE HAVE any written proof, about what CSR said. I mean "we can apply n900280" with the purcase of n900. Coz, i never saw it written anywhere also the coupon works. Is there any place to see that?

Im about the make the purchase within an hour or so. Any help appriciated!

Can anyone please confirm two things.
1. Is there a limit on how many trade-ins i can do and how many rebates i can get for any name and address?
2. Is it necessary to buy the N900 from Nokia or can it be bought from any authorized dealer. If so, is Dell an authorized dealer?

Many thanks.

The trade in is a separate program, you can always get the trade in from some other dealer. But I think for the n900 $280 rebate it needs to be from Nokia directly.

***Important:

Just called them to purchase the phone. This rebate is only valid for people who registered earlier with summer280. Otherwise, although the n900280 is accepted by flipswap. No rebate will be processed unless your name on the previous promotion. (summer280)

Did you call Nokia or the flipswap customer service? Because this rebate will be processed by flipswap and not Nokia.

The CSR i talked to failed to answer it also. Finally contacted the supervisor at Nokia. She told me the story. This coupon is not advertised anywhere. They have failed to fulfill all the orders last time when they offered the coupon. Thats the reason they offer it again and ONLY for those people. Not for everyone. (that kind a person took this code from CSR and spreading it now. Otherwise NO WHERE this coupon code is mentioned officially, COS no everyone allowed to use it like before summer280)

Also. Also the rebate is send by flipswap it will be processed by Nokia directly. Also she said, she is having a long waiting list.

IF YOU DONT ask the CSR he just place the order and will be canceled the order OR no rebate will be received. That what she said. SO MISLEADING, but thats the TRUTH.

I am not understanding your last sentence above. did the supervisor mention if the rebates will be processed or not(if you did not pre-register w/summer280)? if yes under what conditions?

in summery, no rebate check will be issued unless you have pre-registered with summer280 back in August.

OP clearly mentioned that he was canceled from summer280. Thats why they we giving his this new code. ONLY for those people NONE others.

If 280, I think that is a good price.
