This is a re-condition model. For $99.99 and you get 2 digital frames (touch screen), wifi/BT ready, 1024x768, that is a good deal. Deal will expire at 6PM (PST).
I have the smaller 8in 800x600 version (with silver frame) and it is excellent. Yes, to use WiFi you buy an extra usb adapter (not sure how useful it is). I prep all my photos for 4:3 aspect in 1024x768 so the frame just displays "as is" (no reformatting).
It can play .avi, but can't combine pictures with video's (at least mine can't).
Ya, you can add a memory card or usb stick (most of us have these laying around), but the software will only shuffle thru a single folder. Either from internal memory (256mb) or the ext. device. So it's all or none.
In the case where you have your own ext. memory device, only having 256mb is probably good since you're not going to use it anyway.
Having said that, you can buy similar displays with 1gb or 2gb internal memory for $100ish.
You get 2 for $100 on this one, I'd said very warm deal. Good for gifts.

As far as I can tell Pandigital doesn't make a 10.4" with 256....the Amazon one and the manufacturers website list only 512...not a whole lot different..also the "model number" listed in the link does not exist.
BUT....you get two. (I will add that the "bad" reviews for this frame complain about a error that a reviewer found a fix for and posted it in the Amazon reviews) Plus you add the SD (and other cards) capabilities and most of us have extra cards, usb sticks lying around (I know I do anyways)...enough for 1,000's of pics...the internal memory (which I believe is really 512) is enough for 100-200 at that res.... That really is a lot of pictures scrolling through anyways.
I checked and you can certainly get similar frames in the $80-$110 range everywhere....but you get two with free shipping. Pretty darn good deal.
Been debating it all day, as I really don't need this but can use the $100....damn you FW and OP! In for 1!

OPs link used to link to product..they must have moved it. Here it is as of the time of this post...
I bought two and one arrived damaged. The anchors that hold the frame to the unit were completely ripped out. First time I bought from shnoop and I'm concerned about getting a replacement or refund. Has anyone else had problems with them? First they had me send pictures of the damage and then said they would have UPS contact me to inspect for shipping damage. There was no shipping damage and the way the items were packaged by the manufacturer - it would be impossible to cause the frame damage. My guess is the refurb guy tightened the frame way too much or they simply reshipped a returned item that was damaged without inspecting it. Either way I have one bad unit and Shnoop does not seem to be in a hurry to correct the problem. I don't think I will buy from them again and am getting a sneaky feeling I paid top dollar for one working used unit.
Does anyone know if a generic USB wifi adapter (like from Meritline or whatnot) would work with this frame, or does it have to be the Pandigital adapter?
