typical turn around time for rebates for samsung is almost half a year, if you get it at all. do a web search samsung rebates you'll see what i mean.

yep. and they usually reject the rebate claiming the original upc u sent in is 'not' the original upc. dislike dealing with samsung rebates
I've gotten 5 this year, in two batches, two different rebate offers (for 3 earphones, then 2). Out of the first batch (3), two were listed as not qualified until I called in. (Their mistake.) Calling in was straightforward and got things back on track. Second batch went smoothly. Used rebate cards towards phone bills.
