16GB Micro SDHC Polaroid at Fry's
$42.99 - $25 MIR = $17.99.
Class not specified from Ad, but most likely a Class 2 only.

According to the rebates product number (P-SDU16G2-FS/POL) its a class 2 card . Amazon sells the card for $40 .

To note: rebate shows for PNY not Polaroid , but part # matches for Polaroid .

These seem to be on sale every week. Anyone having trouble with performance or receiving your rebates?

The cards say "Polaroid by PNY"

At least ones I have seen and if you look at the Fry's photo, that is what it shows.

Class 2 is plenty fast for an MP3 player/ipod

It was $12.99 last week with a $30 MIR. Not hot.

here is a speedtest on the one i got from a prior deal. pretty fast i would say but i havent tested many others so i dont know if class 6 ones are usually much faster in general or what..

class2 cards are NOT fast enough for apps2sd on android if you want to store all your apps on the card...reported issued class4 6 or 10 better performance

But is that claim based on the 6MB/s write speed of class 6 or the assumption that a class 6 card actually runs at say 10MB/s?

Considering mine almost runs at 9MB/s I want to try it with apps2sd and I will be getting my evo one of these days so I will try it then =]

Read speeds for same-brand class 2/4/6 are fairly similar, so loading apps shouldn't be much different on a class 2. A quick Google search of apps2sd droid "class 2" shows many people successfully using class 2 cards for apps2sd. Example

i was trying to order 2 different sdhc cards, this and patriot.
It is charging me 3.98 shipping. 1.99 for each item.
Earlier, i was able to combine shipping.

Unless you have a tip for how to go back in time a week, how does this do anyone any good?

I actually found it (wonderful 99's comment) to be good, useful info. Helped me make an informed decision. Thanks.

Is this good for digital cameras and recording movies on them?

This one is much better for cameras: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1014560/
microSDHC is mostly for cell phones.
