Never used one like this but would like to try. However, how is the base unit charged? I am wondering if there is a wire running down from the visor in front of the steering wheel to the 12V outlet?
I was interested at this as well BUT the speakerphone won't w/o a BT part docked. Kind of defeats it for me as I always end up loosing th BT headset in the car where's it's not readily available.

Sounds like the dock would be good for you.If it has it's own dock for headset, then you won't be misplacing it. The moto T505 is also a very good BT SP,it doesn't have the seperate earpece ,good price at Newegg $54.99 Shipped + CB
yes, I've been looking at this. Hoping the price would go down to $30 mark.
