I received the Kia card today despite the fact that it never appeared on the tracking site. Name was spelled correctly on it and everything. So if you can't track it on the link don't sweat it.

It was for a pre-paid card, wasn't it? I mailed PPW November 15th or so. Haven't seen anything yet.
I just received a nice mailer from Buick. Test drive a 2012 Buick Verano, receive a $50 "American Express-Branded Reward Card". No purchase necessary, etc., etc. Receive a six-digit verification code from your Buick dealer after a test drive, go to www.BuickTestDrive50.com and enter it (along with the unique code I received in the mailer) and get the card within 2-4 weeks.
The mailer indicated that I already own a Buick, but I don't. We have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, so that's probably where they got our info.

Mine does not show on the rebateshq site and when I call the 877 number it asks for your tracking number which I do not have and no option to speak to a live person. Any suggestions?

I believe I hit the option number 1 where it said something like if you didnt take your test drive so try it
Does anyone know the format of a Nissan dealer code (not asking for a code, just the format), what they gave me at the dealer does not work and I am assuming something is missing.

Same here, I only see how to download brochures, no email or mailing lists. Looking for the email and mailing for Buick borchures. Thanks for any and all help!

I agree.
While some claim that dealers resent the test drives that are done purely for the money, I've been pretty upfront with dealers and never encountered an issue. As I recall, one dealer simply said to me, "We'd rather just sign the form if you're not really interested in the car", which posed an interesting ethical dilemma.
I go during slow times at the dealers, and I've never had any outright deny the test drive. It seems to be an idea to just do the darn test drive and enjoy it.

9 out of 10 times I tell dealers I just want them to sign it, they don't make me drive the car. But, a few times, they actually made me drive the car.
Once a salesman after the drive asked me if I were sure that I was not in the market, I said I wasn't. He called the manager, who said if I bought right now, they will give it to me for 50% off MSRP. I gave him my credit card. He laughed it off, saying he was just checking...
When is it going to sink in with some folks that cheating on these negatively affects all of us. The manufacturers have cut way back, have set up intricate systems to ensure that people cannot cheat easily. The extra cost of this takes away from higher incentives they could have offered or more frequent test drive offers. There are always some people who just have to cheat the system and I think it is terrible that the Fat Wallet moderators allow them to post for the codes . Just my opinion. Michelle

Unfortunately for everyone that feels this way there's 100 people that don't feel this way. Just proves that what you say is correct.
Went to San Leandro (Bay Area) Kia to test drive today. In addition for them signing my form, they are also giving 2 Golden State Warriors tickets for test driving any Kia cars. Can't get any better!
I learned to show up 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday or Sunday night. The dealers will sign off and let you go on your way nearly all of the time.
I was just wondering if there was a thread on fatwallet for just free car ride and drive events in general too, not just the ones that offer you money. I genuinely like test drive cars so any of those events I love too.
i love this thread and appreciate the contributions everyone makes. for those of you who have active deals, please add them to the quick summary part of this thread. just makes it easier/faster for everyone to know what TD deals are live. Thanks in advance!
Got a mailer today, to test drive a Toyota and receive a pre-paid $50 Visa card. In NJ, southern Bergen County / Northern Hudson County area. Expires 4/15/12. Terms say it's limited offer "at participating dealers in the Toyota NY Region and Chicago Region".... No direct links were provided.
Went to my local Kia. First thing out of the salesman's mouth (after finding out I came in to test drive) was "do you have any interest in buying a Kia?" I said no and he offered to just fill out the form (which he did).

We got one ,too, here in Chicago. We never signed up for anything at the Toyota site. I was so happy as I have never gotten a Toyota one before. Michelle
I would think for thatgenerous reward you could do the test drive. I strongly urge everyone to stop cheating and start fulfilling our end of the bargain. Michelle
