As long as you open an account with 10000 bucks.
Now it's time for someone to answer my question.

OptionsHouse needs a proofreader. What exactly is a "newly funded OptionsHouse customer?"
Did they mean "newly-funded account" or "new OptionsHouse customer?"
Fifteen stock trades at about $4 each = $60.

15 commisionable trades, meaning $4x15 = $60 out of pocket. 6 months min. so, ~$140 ROI for $10k for 6 months +/- nay investment losses/gains..

60 bucks for the trades + the 1099 for the kindle = may not be worth it.
Not much risk for losses if you buy/sell 1 share.

No 1099 unless $600 for year. One Kindle - no 1099.

OptionsHouse did not send 1099s for the 24" monitors last year to the best of my knowledge. Also the terms of this promotion specify:
"Retail values totaling $600 or more during the calendar year will be included in your consolidated Form 1099."

I think the platform looks better than zecco, not any better than E*Trade . But the commission rates are a buck cheaper than either for me...so the lure of a kindle fire is a big one. Not that I would move my E*Trade account, but I am going to be bumping up against SIPC limits soon and may want to have assets in more than one brokerage account.

I received the the monitor last year with one account already, so this should work. I opened two account last year to get 60 days free trades and 1 year wsj subs and the next account to get the monitor. Deposit for both of them was 3k, so I took the money from first and opened the second one. And no trades were required.

Thank you for answering. I would call OH to confirm it is the case. Just on the side note, I do probably 30 trades (buy and sell) a month average. So I might as well try to score with free kindle fire. For people who is afraid trade and lose, this is probably not for you.
