It seems to be a good price based on history at camel - why is it such a crappy product? On one side you've people who swear by Weber.....

Green for OP just on the quality alone. 'Crappy product,' you've got to be kidding me! Try taking a close look at the grills in one of the Big Box stores, no comparison on the quality. The only way to improve this is to go with burners that go front to back, better for smoking meat, the model that has that feature is a lot more bux...
Price seems to be not that great but then I got my E-320 for $519 at Aafes...

I'm in the same boat as him. Closest WalMart is a bit of a challenge to get to from San Francisco. Unfortunately we don't all live close by a WalMart
