The Cybershot DSC-W290 has 3.5 stars on Amazon. Amazon has the best deal on this camera I could find, aside from the refurbished (which is $160 shipped on at Sony).

Overall, looks like a fairly solid camera for a good price. Next best deal on this camera new is $180 at B&H.

Any thoughts about the eBay daily deal for a refurb camera bundle with a 2gb stick and case for 129.99...?

The new W350 allows optical zoom in video shooting and has this sweeping panorama mode, in a much slimmer body, goes for $189 on Amazon. Tough choice.

Got the camera yesterday... It was like brand new just had a tiny sticker I had to remove. No scratches... fully functional all software, connectors and battery intact. Included a black compact case by Sony. 2gb card is a nice bonus. Deal is still available...
