I think they ship frozen, so not sure I would want to freeze the whole thing again. There are freezing guidelines on their website somewhere to freeze later; Online Pricing and Delivery
Our online prices (excluding gift certificates) include all shipping, handling and packaging costs. We utilize a guaranteed air delivery to ensure that your packages arrive in the best possible condition, and in the timeliest manner. Due to the perishability of our products, they are shipped flash frozen (which means they're frozen very quickly at a very low temperature). You, or your recipients, will want to allow 24-48 hours to thaw your product before you plan to serve it.

You, or your recipients, will want to allow 24-48 hours to thaw your product before you plan to serve it. From their FAQ ... HOW LONG CAN I STORE THE HAM? If you purchased your ham at one of The HoneyBaked Ham Company retail stores, refrigerate it immediately after you get home to keep it at it's freshest and peak flavor. It will keep in the refrigerator for approximately 6 to 8 days. If your ham was shipped to you, it may arrive partially frozen to ensure freshness during shipment. Once it's thawed, you can refrigerate it for up to approximately 8 days. FREEZING: If your ham was purchased from one of our HoneyBaked Ham Company retail stores, you can freeze any portion of the ham you won't be serving. Wrap that portion tightly in aluminum foil, seal in a plastic bag and freeze immediately. We recommend freezing no longer than 45 days, as the ham may begin to lose taste and texture. When you wish to serve it again, simply thaw in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours. If your ham was shipped to you, it may arrive partially frozen. As long as the ham is cool to the touch, you may serve, refrigerate or refreeze with confidence. Freeze no longer than 45 days as the ham may begin to lose it peak flavor and texture. When you wish to serve it again, thaw in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours.
Once your HoneyBaked HamŽ has been completely thawed, we don't recommend that you refreeze it.
In for one. Set up for Easter delivery. Discount worked fine.
The discount doesn't show up until the final screen. When you enter it on the "cart" page, nothing shows. Try entering all the name and address info on the next two screens and see if you get the discount on the final page (and you do get there before you enter CC info and finalize the order).

In for one. I hope it goes through. After nosing around a bit, I see that this is the site for their California customers, other states have higher prices.

This may be too good to be true.
1. Most likely a price mistake. Regular price is ~$90. 2. The website appears to be for California residents. Go to the main www.honeybaked.com site, and choose another state besides CA. Wonder how shipping will work to those on the east coast.

I put an order in, but I'm not optimistic.
(this is the OP)
I used to live in CA. I now live on the East Coast.
I still get promo emails from HBH CA, it's a kosher* offer that was emailed to me by HBH.
I have ordered from HBH CA for delivery over here before and it works out fine. The hams are not sent Ground They would only offer shipping to CA if they had a problem with doing otherwise, no?
Last time I ordered one it was the same deal. It was the CA site, but they shipped it to Washington. Maybe this time will be different, but it worked last time.

I ordered one ham as well and the code worked. But this was done yesterday. I believe they must have found out this was a huge error, ie, both the half off and the discount code. The ham is pricey even at $37 but I have heard they are very good (I have ordered Omaha Steak spiral ham and it was excellent and probably very similar to what Honeybaked sends out). For $30 shipped I jumped all over it for delivery on April 21. I even received an email confirmation. Nonetheless, I have little hope of receiving it, at least for thirty bucks. Sometime between now and April 21 they will probably advise me it was all a mistake - I can see it coming.
