Checked out the local BB tonight, they had stock of the Toshiba laptop, but it's not out on display. I had to ask one of the tech guys where it was after referencing the ad circular. Kinda made me a little iffy on buying something without seeing any kind of display model with all the specs.
I'm not too picky on the bluetooth or webcam since I have external ones that I can use easily. But I didn't see anything about the graphics card or the like.
So yeah, I'm left feeling iffy. The 4gm ddr and 320gb HD are a big selling point for me at that price though, so I gotta say, I'm still feeling tempted.
Any of the super tech savvy posters think it's a good idea to pull the trigger on this one?
I would not suggest buying Toshiba laptop, because if something goes wrong you will probably end up waiting not less than 3 months for repair to be done. My laptop, Toshiba U505, is on hold for parts at the repair depot for over a month already. Their customer service is horrible and just can't provide any info on the repair. You have to wait on the line for hours to talk to somebody besides CSR. Here is the link to the Toshiba forum posts: LINK
