Very cheap price, but reviews elsewhere - see particularly Amazon and Musicians Friend (where it's still $179!) - are poor with many complaints of recordings aborting after a few minutes for no reason and little help from Alesis for those experiencing that and other problems. This cheap it could be a nice toy, but perhaps not the best choice in this type of device for users needing a reliable recorder.
