I have owned every version of the Jawbone headset and they haven't worked out as well as the advertisements - but I have faith that this will be The One!
After my last Jawbone I said I won't buy it again unless it comes out with a standard USB charging plug. The ICON has it but waiting for that to be $31 shipped!!! But thanks OP. Good price for a decent BT headset.

Can't stand my prime. It sounds great but it doesn't fit very well. Wife has the same complaint. None of the included buds or earhook work well. The iPhone battery meter is nice a nice touch though. $31 is lowest price I have seen. Nice find if it fits your ear.
Edit, just realized I have the icon not the prime.
Anyone have any experience using this (or any other BT headset) while riding a motorcycle? Or boating?
Wind noise kills the funtionality of most BT headsets I've tried. The person I am talking to can no longer hear me after 25 - 30 MPH, and I can't hear anything after 30 - 40 MPH.

My car charger has a USB base so if if the jawbone charger cord has a USB on one end, I can use it on any USB charger (wall/car).
Yes, you can use any USB charger with the cord.
Sweet, thanks. I wasn't sure if that was the charger that would come in the package.
In 4 1 It comes with a micro usb charger cable so if ur cell phone uses a micro usb it will work

A standard bluetooth headset won't work for you partially because of the wind noise and also because the mic itself won't work with a helmet (usually). I ride all the time everywhere so I've tried a few solutions. The cheapest option is to use a wired headset with a full face helmet. You will need to attach the mic portion of the headset to the inside of the helmet. This option works, but it isn't convenient and I only tried it a few times.
I have an older model BlueAnt Interphone. The InterPhone is a bluetooth kit designed for motorcycle riders. The kit can connect with other InterPhones to work as an intercom or as a bluetooh headset for a phone/gps. It has a boom mic that had no problems with wind noise. With my half helmet I could use it no problems at 55-60mph. I don't like to go faster than that with the half helmet so I never tested it at higher speeds. With my full face helmet it worked at any speed with no issues.
They are pricy, as with anything motorcycle specific. The downside of the device (which may have been fixed with the latest generation) it that it could only support one connection at a time, so you got either the intercom functionality OR the bluetooth headset functionality. If you wanted to switch you would have to repair with the other device. Since it could only be paired with one device at a time, you couldn't connect it to both a phone and a GPS unit at the same time. Pick one.
Here's a link to the latest generation model (obviously shop around if you wanted one): BlueAnt InterPhone
