I ordered these from Shnoop for the same price and they didnt come pre-charged. Two of the 12 didnt take a full-charge but still work. Hopefully, they all will last. Overall I think its a good deal for me. However, Penny-wise seems to be paypal only so I would wait for Shnoop to offer it.
These Rayovacs have been the worst rechargeables that I have ever owned (Tenergy, eneloop, duracell, energizer, lacrosse, crappy Panny DECT phone batteries)
Features: Brand new AAA rechargeable batteries 1.2V 800mAh cells Advanced Nickel Metal Hydride technology Considerably longer run time than conventional Nickel Cadmium batteries The only NiMH rechargeable system that works in 15 minutes I-C3 batteries can be recharged up to 1,000 times The I-C3 technology puts the control of recharging into the battery instead of the charger No memory effect means batteries can be recharged at any time, even when only partially drained Batteries may be recharged in any NiMH battery charger (not included) 15 minute charging requires the Rayovac I-C3 Charger (not included) Brand New - Bulk --
a little disappointed that its only 800mAh. I guess remotes or solar lights compatible with nimh might be all these are good for.

I ordered from Shnoop, and never got my order... something is better than nothing.

I have mine for 4 years and happy with them. If they were AA (I need), I would buy them no doubt.
