WalMart sells this for $998. Woot only has a 90 warranty and it'll cost you an extra $100 to extend it to a year. And these things do go bad. I've only ever bought two LCD TVs (a Sharp and a Vizio) and both went bad on me. So you gotta ask yourself, do I want a refurb for $899 (with maybe dings and dead pixels), or a brand spanking new one for $99 more (ignoring sales tax).
My verdict: another questionable Woot deal.

Alive again. Don't buy it. More than one user wrote review about it developing a line in the middle of the screen after one year use.
