wish this was the 1201n...

GMA 500. I think I'd wait for something a little better than that. Not enough cpu power and no gpu acceleration for any HD video.

There were a ton of people (myself included) that had problems with these netbooks when received from a previous woot. Mine had to be shipped back to Asus for a bad keyboard, and they ended up having to ship me a replacement as they couldn't get a spare keyboard. Just be careful.

Why do they sell a model with a big screen but include a crippled CPU/graphics?

So they can sell it for $220.

It can fill all your needs for email, browsing, word, excel, powerpoint, youtube, facebook, etc. It's 3lbs, has a big screen and nice keyboard, and costs $220. Twice the functionality of the iPad, less than half the price, and still very portable (but obviously not as thin/small/light/slick as the iPad).

Different strokes for different folks. Perfect for anyone who has a big laptop or desktop as their main computer.

This is very true. I bought an Asus 15.6 ultra slim laptop for $433 AR/BCB, but I barely touched it after I finished school. In fact, although it's super slim, I still hated how wide it was.

I use my desktop when I'm home, my Android when I'm in the bathroom or downstairs. A 10.1 netbook is too small, IMO 12.1 would be perfect for taking to the bathroom, kitchen, Starbucks, class, etc. You just can't really take it to a buddy's Lan or something. $220 is dirt cheap, too bad it's not BNIB.

What is the model #?

Ewww....I can just imagine the fecal matter all over the keys you typed on after wiping.....

and can anyone in our society just wait a few minutes until after you're done using the bathroom until you do something else?

I mean, I can't even go to the bathroom at work sometimes without hearing someone peeing and talking on their cell, it's ridiculous!
