yeah, more or less for a kid in 1-3rd grade type thing. But can use it as a small desk calculator if you need one.

look, that goes without saying. tax is never calculated as part of any deal since some states have NO SALES tax, others range from 3%-10%. plus if you use a rewards check to pay for your items, there's no sales tax either in most states if your rewards check covers the full cost of items.
ShakuniMama said: In the recent Peachtree rebate wasn't there an additional clause about only one rebate per product?
per version is the exact words.
as of now, they were still paying out on different offer #'s, however, given the issues with McAfee and how they are denying rebates, it might be wise to be very cautious. $165 is a huge amount to eat if they suddenly decide to enforce the rule. +

Maybe I'm an old fuddy duddy, but I remember when we used to cut up paper grocery bags to use as book covers. Not only were they free, but it gave you that cool blank (brown) look that you could write or draw on.
thats what I did so far for the kids.. this year list specifically ask for stretchy covers! jcantanixon said: IrfanPathan said: Anyone knows cheap place to buy stretchable book covers? Staples has these for 4.99 each but I think thats over priced..

Thanks! Was already looking at it... my plan is to buy Peachtree with a 25/75, and then 2 reams of paper, 2 HP photo paper packages, the calculator... and $5.05 more stuff with the $5 off $50 coupon. Was hoping the stuff with rebates would get it up to $50, but I guess not.

Yup, I've done the 2011 rebate once so I'm going to wait for someone braver than me to try the rebate again.
And of course the rebate house is clueless....both times I called for clarification I got different answers....as usual.

Unlikely since the closest OD is 40 miles away. Change of plans is this: 2 reams of Hammermill @ 4.99 = 9.98 1 HP photo paper @ 13.99 Calculator @ 6.99 1 case Staples multipurpose paper @ 46.99 - Total 77.95 - $25 (coupon, $3) = 52.95. Then rebates of 8.98, 12.99, 6.99, 22 totals 50.96. So net 1.99 + coupon + tax on 52.95. Then about $5 rewards on the paper portion. Total for me will end up being around $5.

Do you actually have to install the product? Their web rebate registation seems to provide all the numbers required for their rebate forms.

no you do not. Some people post up misinfo....
you do need to register the product and provide the registration/customer#/serial#, etc in the spaces provided for on the rebate form.

I'd check WalMart, maybe even eBay.My experience with book sox when I bought them for my kids was that you got what you paid for. The $4.99 ones were much better than the el cheapo ones at OfficeMax, they were thicker and in some cases bigger. I would look for a sale price on the better ones rather than the cheap ones. Open the package and check them out before buying.

Any other stores / cities in AZ allow this? We're up to 9.5%

I've submitted and received 5 different Peachtree Pro 2010 rebates in the past year. Registered but never installed each one. The last one I did was the rebate that said "limit one" and it was paid. Of course "prior performance is no guarantee of future returns..." but this will be the first PP 2011 rebate I've submitted so expect it to be paid. I pre-submit, tape the UPC on the submission form and in BIG letters w/ sharpie write: CUSTOMER # ----, REGISTRATION # ---, SERIAL # --- and attach a copy of the receipt. (Form for this coming week isn't up yet.) In the past I've received denials because I "did not include serial number". Horse hockey. Its been there they've just not seen it. Now you have to be blind to miss it

UPDATE: went to Staples w/ a $30 off $150 and will make about $25 after all the rebates come back. Thanks OP.
memco said: So if I take a $30 off $150 coupon and buy peachtree w/ 2 reams of $.50 paper and 2 boxes of the HP photo paper I should be able to make about $23 in change right? This will be my first Staples rebate purchase and I just want to make sure there are no gotchas I may be missing.
Mod Edit: Direct links to e-junkie are not allowed. Thanks!
if your Staples accepts OD coupons, you'd be better off splitting your orders:
order 1- Buy the Peach. Pro 2011 $165-$30 coupon-$165MIR (make $30 less tax/coupon cost)
order 2- 2 Packs of HP photo paper and ONE pack of Hammermill (there's a $2 Manufact. coupon in Sunday paper) Total before tax about $32 less $10 off $30 Office Depot coupon (see seperate thread in hot deals for link to this coupon), less $2 Hammermill coupon. Make about $9 after rebates (you can enter these online, the Peachtree is mail in).
By splitting into two orders you can make $39 versus $23 in your scenario (less sales tax/cost of coupon)
