My onw, and only, tom tom c/service experience? Bought one straight out of the box, and had to call c/service becasue it failed to turn on after reading the manual, and following all directions to work it, c/services saia I would have to do a manual reset to get it to work. I'll let you decide if you want a tom tom with poor software.
I have had 3 Tomtoms and each one has performed well for me. I've purchased them new and then given them as gifts to family or resold on Craigslist when another better deal has come along or I get the itch to upgrade.
Seeing this deal... I'm definitely thinking about another upgrade.
Thanks! In for one. First GPS and the road trip I'm going on isn't that complicated but hopefully it'll help (curious how it works in small areas like navigating airports -- realize it might not be so great there).
