side note: does anyone know of a continuous ink system that will work with this printer without having to keep the cover open/cracked? I'd like to install one but don't want to have to leave the printer open. If not, I'll just stick with syringe refills for the cartridges.
This is very tempting. I have 3 printers at home right now for some reason - a huge laser Xerox Phaser 6180, a Brother Multifunction printer, and a Canon Photo Inkjet/Deskjet. I want the Laser because it prints fast. I want the Brother because it can do almost everything but at an expense of quality. And the Canon is there for the 'quality' even though I've used it once or twice. Hahaha! It would be nice to consolidate and get a Multifunction printer that can do everything with great quality. Time to consider dumping the Brother/Canon and picking this new one up. The only remaining item would be finding a perfect Multifunction Color Laser for cheap
Actually, I only really want a deskjet/inkjet for the photo printing quality. What is most practical would be a multifunction color laser printer. Not cheap tho...
