I got annoyed having to click on each rebate to check the status individually, so I set up a little script that does that automatically. It can be found here: http://www.geekandproud.net/staples/. I figured I'd share this with everyone else. Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions.
It doesn't save any information, just looks things up and displays it. You can take a look at the code here if you want.

I'm sure it's possible... I'm much better with PHP than Javascript, which is why I did it this way. It was originally just written for me, so I didn't care about all the requests coming from the server. Maybe I'll play around with Greasemonkey. I made the code available, so anyone can run it wherever they want, too.
First of all, Many Thanks for hitting upon such a brilliant idea and to top it all the idea of sharing with all! I tried but it just shows a blank browser.....is it just me or my browser (Google Chrome)?
It's working for me in Chrome. I just added a message to let you know if there are no rebates round with a given lastname/zip/email. It was just a blank page if it didn't find anything previously.
