Before buying anything at restaurant.com, see Deal Discussion thread "Beware the Ideal Meal Bait and Switch" thread. Rest.com has been pulling some very shady changes on it's long time customers who have banked credit.

Not a scam. I used one of these I bought at Christmas $25 card for $1. just this past weekend and had no problems. The restaurants are not big chain restaurants that are on there just to get their name out there I guess. Better use the gift cards quick though before that restaurant goes out of buisness. Also it ends up being more like a coupon, I had to buy $35 when using $25 gift card.
